Review of the JVC KS-SB200 Boombox
When we heard about the JVC Boombox KS-SB200, we were very exctied. The reason - we already owned a JVC SR2000 Sirius Satellite Radio receiver. The JVC Boombox KS-SB200 comes with a cradle interface for this receiver. However, it's not just for this. You can plug in any device to the aux socket - e.g. an MP3 player - and it will play just fine. So essentially, the JVC Boombox KS-SB200 is a universla speaker system which you can take anywhere.

It needs 8 D batteries to work outside, or the AC cable inside. The radio reception is excellent, and the aerial is weather proof with great signal pickup ability. The Boombox itself looks really smart, quite a meaty design. It's a small piece of kit, but it's earsplittingly loud. The bass response is incredible thanks to the BASS MAX circuit, and it creates a great, rich, deep bass sound through the twin 5 inch 2 way speakers.
Great for parties and BBQs, it's a sturdy JVC boombox which will appeal to all. There's an adjustable headphone jack - seems like a bit of a waste to us! the digital onflaming volume control is exceptionally smooth. The beach, the enchanted garden, barbecues, at work, with friends, in the car - you may fetch the uncommunicable quality and prodigious potpourri of digital radio media provided by the sirius sr2000 anyplace you punctilious care to go. Reception is in general excellent. One actually well tormenting thought out thing was the massive length cable - 20ft! - so you may have the jvc boombox ks-sb200 just where you want it. There's a radio antenna which is weather incontrovertible evidence and very robust.
